Hello! My name is Matthew Lichtenberg but you've probably figured that out by now. This is a place on the internet where I post my projects that I've done in a sort of interactive resume. I have a fairly wide span of interests from semiconductor materials, to murder myseries, to community service.
My Story:
I grew up in Stamford CT, and attended Greens Farms Academy High School. Before going to college, I served in Americorps NCCC as a kind of gap year. It was an extremely formative experience that shaped me into the person I am today.
I then completed my bachelor’s from Brown University. I always liked the advice that you should double major in one subject that you enjoy and another you can turn into a career. Following this advice, I double majored in materials engineering and applied mathematics. In college, I was very involved in all things board games including chess club, d&d, and I was the financial chair for Brown’s general board gaming club, Brown Table. I also was very involved in the engineering departments student affairs. I worked as an undergraduate TA, and was president of the Engineering Department Undergraduate Group.
After Graduating I moved west to Phoenix to work as a device engineer at NXP semiconductors, where I currently am.
